Do you offer metal-free restorations?
Race Dental Laboratory offers a number of tooth restoration products which satisfy your patients’ interest in metal-free dentistry. 3M ESPE Lava Zirconia and Ivoclar e.Max are great solutions for cases which require a high-aesthetic appearance. Weiland ZX Zirconia is a more cost-effective zirconia restoration, while Opalite is virtually unbreakable and perfect for demanding posterior cases.Click here for more information on our crown and bridge options.

Which are the best restoration materials for bruxers and grinders?
Opalite restorations are milled from zirconia using CAD/CAM tehcnology. They exhibit an exceptional flexural strength of 1100mPa and are virtually unbreakable, making them ideal for posterior cases and patients with bruxing sn grinding issues. Becuase Opalite is monolithic it requires much less preparation space than traditional crowns and it is far more aesthetic than traditional PFM restorations.

Which are the best restoration materials for aesthetically demanding cases?
For cases which require a high level of aesthetics (particularly anterior restorations) we recommend one of our premium crown and bridge options: premium PFM, 3M ESPE Lava or pressed Ivoclar e.Max. A premium restoration from Race Dental offers you the highest aesthetics and greatest level of options. All of our premium crown and bridge products are high-quality, multi-layered or customised restorations which can incorporate features such as internal effects, opalescent characterisation and premier anatomy. Our expert dental technicians spend extra time on your premium restoration to ensure it meets your expectations.

What sort of product warranties do you offer?
Race Dental Laboratory supplies an individually-numbered warranty card with all of our warranted products.
This card certifies that the restoration is:
- 100% Australian Made
- Fully bio-compatible
- Made from TGA-approved materials
Warranties offered on crown & bridge products:
- 3M ESPE Lava: 5 years for complete restoration, warranted by 3M ESPE
- Sapphire: 5 years for complete restoration
- Standard/Premium PFM: 1 year for complete crown
- ZX Zirconia: 10 years for framework
- Opalite: 10 years for complete restoration
- Ivoclar e.Max (pressed): 1 year for complete restoration
- Ivoclar e.Max CAD: 5 years for complete restoration

What are your turnaround times?
As all of our work is locally made, we are able to offer fantastic turnaround times on our products.

- Post, core & crown: 7 days
- Acrylic dentures: tryin, 3 days or straight to finish, 5 days
- Chrome: 5 days
- Valplast: tryin 3 days or straight to finish, 6 days
- Relines: 1 day
- Repairs and additions: 1-3 days
- Orthodontics: 3-5 days
- Splints: 3-4days
- Mouthguards: 3 days
